From Amazon Books:

For Stefania, life was a canvas painted with the colors of her peaceful routine and the warmth of her loved ones. But on February 24, 2022, that canvas was abruptly torn apart as Russia's invasion of Ukraine plunged the country into chaos and desperation.

In this gripping memoir, we follow the traumatic journey of a young artist as she navigates the treacherous path of escaping a war-torn Kyiv. With her mother by her side, she faces unimaginable choices, from heart-stopping moments of panic on the city streets to the agonizing decision to leave her beloved Kyiv behind.

"Light in the Darkness: Escaping the War in Ukraine" is a poignant and inspiring memoir that not only chronicles the harrowing experiences of war and escape but also unfolds as a deeply personal tale of spiritual awakening. It reminds us that even in the depths of profound tragedy, hope and faith can emerge, guiding us toward a new dawn.
