    Daytime Performances (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)

    Friends, family, and members of the public are encouraged to come watch and listen to the day time festival performances! There will be 1-day and 3-day access passes for KCT performances available to purchase on the KCT box office website at https://theatre.kelowna.ca/upcoming-events/bc-interior-jazz-festival-day-performances as well as in the lobby. Prices: 1-day pass: $6; 3-day pass: $10. Festival participants get in free.

    Entrance to Metro Hub daytime performances (Jazz Combos) will be by donation at the venue (suggested donation: $2 to $5).

    Thursday Night Jazz Jam:

    We will be hosting another Thursday night Jazz Jam! The Jazz Jam (hosted by Stephen Buck and Craig Thomson) will start at 5pm and will feature students and adults of all ages jamming together on jazz standards. Bring your instrument and play or listen and witness the jazz community and collaboration at its finest. Real books and rhythm section instruments will be supplied. Entry by donation!

    Thursday Night Concert - The Convertibles Little Big Band:

    44th Annual BC Interior Jazz Festival is pleased to present The Convertibles @ Metro Hub - 7:30pm on Thursday, April 13th, 2023.

    The Convertibles little BIG Band is a new sound in the Okanagan. Made up of ten of the most flexible and groovy instrumentalists in the valley, some familiar faces like local mainstays Craig Thomson and Bob Rogers, and introducing new transplants, our co-leaders and trumpeters Joe Auty and Nicholas Dyson.

    Bring your dancing shoes, this time The Convertibles have a high-energy set of Funk and Latin hits by Dizzy Gillespie, Maceo Parker, Michel Camilo, Tower of Power, Paquito D'Rivera, The Soul Rebels, and even a favourite from Chilliwack in store!

    General Admission tickets are $15, and Students are $10. Tickets and can be purchased online through Zeffy.com at www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/5b18c5a4-c228-43e7-bf12-9e035a4b2af2 or at the door (if not sold out online!). Tickets are separate from festival registration and will need to be purchased in addition to registration fees.

    ​A link to request student tickets will be sent out to directors via email. Schools must request tickets by Friday, March 10th. Schools that do not request tickets may not have any assigned seats and may not be able to attend the concert.

    Friday Night 44th Annual Jazz Artists' Showcase Concert:

    ​Presenting the 44th annual BC Interior Jazz Festival Jazz Artists' Showcase Concert! Often referred to as “the best jazz concert in Kelowna of the year,” this high-level concert showcases the festival's Featured Artist and 2023 Juno nominated jazz saxophonist, Tara Davidson. The concert will also include small group performances from each of the festival's adjudicators: David Restivo, Joel Gray, Pat Belliveau, Jaclyn Guillou, Kimberly Kleineberg, Bob Rogers, Larry Roy, and Joe Auty, as well as Tara Davidson performing a set with the BC Interior Jazz Festival Big Band, directed by Craig Thomson. 7:30pm April 14th, 2023 at the Kelowna Community Theatre.
